6 Days Until Miami...
That's right! You heard it here first, folks. I can't believe it, but in 6 days I am making my return to Miami. Has it really been six months since I have been there??? Where did the time go??? Well, its going to be one of the most interesting weeks of my life, to say the least. I'm excited, nervous, and scared, all at the same time. I wouldn't be able to do it without Chris and Alexis, but I'll be doing it! Yikes, wish me luck. Mary Tyler Moore, you've got nothing on me!! ;)

I've been reading your blog for a while now, linked through another blog and I really enjoy your sense of self discovery and personal sensitivity that you evoke with your writing - I'm sure that's an angle you need to keep pounding away at (vis-a-vis this blog AND seeking part-time free lance writing assignments). Take the advice from one of the old(er) queens (in her fashionable 40's) - I visited Miami Beach once on the cusp of its heyday and 6 months later - just up and moved here - with a little pocket cash and a dream to make it here - and I'm no contessa - but doing OK. In the back of your mind (keeping in mind your earlier posts about what to do post-college, your at times emotionally paintful family strife with a strident outspoken and angry mom and passive dad) - think about staying longer for six days. Think of using the first six days to secure a part time job, sleep on several friends' floors on alternate days until you have enough for a downpayment or have met a copacetic roommate - and take the plunge - the waters have never been finer and from what I read - you already have a lot of friends down here who are rather a potential new family.
Roberto desde Miami
good luck! keep us posted.
Listen to Roberto. I just picked up and left a life of 16 years in New York without a clue of what to do. You will, too. See you soon!
It is only dramatic because there are so many unknowns -- which will seem a bit silly soon enough. Enjoy the sun -- I am SOOOO jealous -- young, smart, and attractive, you will be fine.
WAIT, are you MOVING to Miami?!?! And I haven't gotten a phone call or email? (actually, I'm still waiting for a return call from over the holidays from when I was in NYC!) hmmmm.
So, rumor has it you're returning to Miami in a month to live in Jeremy's place when he leaves again. Thanks for calling me while you were here. Hmpf.
This is MeetJustin's best friend. You are incredibly attractive and deserverdly hot. Good luck in Miami - may you find yourself a hottie!
So you've come, you've gone, AND you've had enough time to go to the moon and back. How about telling us something?
xxx
Jesse, it's been practically two months and nary a post. You must be getting too much nookie to write :)
